"The Apex in SS is my current favorite. It became my favorite after just one use. I bought the standard plate and it took a week's growth off with no problem. The weight is evenly distributed and the glide is very smooth. Very little blade feel. I definitely recommend this razor."

There's a lot of blade feel with the + plate, so I took my time and was cautious in learning this new razor. 2 passes was enough to have an very close shave. "This razor is absolutely stunning. I had the pleasure of purchasing the Apex SS Pro with the Plus plate in electropolish finish from Kalub Aylsworth himself at the 2026 Arizona Shavers meetup. Kalub is a wonderful person; the passion he has for his products are apparent and he made my decision with this razor a good one. This razor is solid in the hands yet it glided across my stubble with a very mild blade. Kalub promised that this razor will be smooth and he was absolutely right. I did 3 passes with 2 on face and an additional pass on the neck. That resulted in a shave, with a subpar blade, that was BBS and got no irritation or nicks on the face. Phenomenal results and this is a razor that will definitely be in my regular rotation. The feel of the razor in my hand is sturdy and grippy, didn't have problems with the razor slipping out of my hands. I wonder how this razor will perform with a blade that isn't mediocre 🤯 Excellent job Kalub, thank you for the shopping experience and the great conversations at the meetup. Orders usually ship within 1 week of the order date, plus 5-10 business days in transit within Canada and the USA. Shipping times vary by region and shipping method for international customers.
Razors can be returned within 90 days from delivery if it is free from damage or wear and tear.
Once the returned item has been verified in the same condition that it was received, a refund will be processed to the payment method used.
NOTE: Due to customs regulations, we can not accept returns from outside of Canada or USA.
All of our razors are designed, inspected, assembled, and distributed at our main location in Toronto, Canada, and machined to ISO9001 standards at a precision small parts CNC manufacturer based in Hong Kong.
Aluminum Razors: Clean with dish soap and water. Never use bleach or vinegar as this can damage the anodized coating. Between shaves rinse, disassemble, and pat dry all 3 parts of the razor, then reassemble and store razor in a dry place until next use.
Brass Razors: Clean with dish soap and water periodically. Between shaves rinse, disassemble, pat dry, reassemble, and store in a dry place until next use. To remove any natural oxidization that forms, simply apply toothpaste, leave for 10 min, then rinse with cold water.
Stainless Steel & Titanium Razors: Clean with dish soap and water. You may add a splash of cleaning vinegar for added sterilization. Between shaves rinse, disassemble, and pat dry all 3 parts of the razor, then reassemble and store razor in a dry place until next use.
NOTE: While all of our razors are made from durable solid metals chosen specifically for their corrosion resistance, stainless steel blades can rust if left damp after use. This rust can then transfer from the blade and damage your razor. For this reason, always store your razor in a dry area after use.
