"Copper colored razors are hard to find. Copper plated razors are harder to find. Pure 100% milled copper razors are almost impossible to find. Im a sucker for all things copper and safety razors. I collect both. The Apex CU was a must have for me and should be a must have for any safety razor collector. With the standard base plate and an Aylsworth blade it shaves incredibly close. The handle's knurling combined with the matte finish provides an unparalled grip."

"I’m thoroughly enjoying my APEX-CU. It’s smoother than I anticipated, and the standard plate is incredibly efficient. With just two passes—one in the direction of hair growth (WTG) and one against it (XTG)—I achieve a very close BBS shave. This razor has stopped by rotation and earned its spot as my daily driver. "I was so looking forward to adding this to my shaving den and routine. It should be on par with my Overlander and Olieworks. Two issues hold me back and maybe its because its copper. This is my only copper razor. Firsly It seams to have som drag, making it more difficult to use than any stainless. Secondly the threading is kinda off, making it hard to assembel with out som amount of Force. This seems wrong. Maybe It is because its copper, but these two issues holds me back from enjoying it and i can only give it 3 starts. Sorry, i really wanted to be a fan."

"I much prefer single- to double-edged razors. This one is beautifully designed and engineered - provides a BBS shave with minimal sggression, effort, and discomfort. I much prefer the Feather single-edge blade to the DE blades which must be split in two - fiddly and dangerous."
"The Apex in SS is my current favorite. It became my favorite after just one use. I bought the standard plate and it took a week's growth off with no problem. The weight is evenly distributed and the glide is very smooth. Very little blade feel. I definitely recommend this razor."
